Covershirt





 
the Covershirt is inspired by various styles of european and japanese work-shirts and chore coats from the early 1900s. designed with a loose, easy fit to be worn over one’s base layer of medium sweater or light undershirt.

the short stand collar buttons high on the neck and continues down to a narrow placket. two large, lined patch pockets sit on the front, with an additional smaller buttoned pocket on the right hand side. sleeves are slightly cropped, and have a single button at the cuff, to adjust fit around the wrist.

cut from a linen/cotton blend, with a 100% cotton herringbone lining, organic linen binding at the centre-back, sewn with organic cotton thread and tencel threads, and strengthened with a biodegradable cotton interfacing. finished with corozo nut buttons.
